| When I completed the “Drive of Your Life” game, I discovered that my personal style profile was: creative, practical, and influential. The three careers that match my style are: video game tester, writer, and game reviewer. From this information I have decided to explore becoming a video game reviewer. I selected this job because I enjoy games and expressing my opinion. One of my daily activities as a game reviewer would be to review or evaluate competitive products. I also have to play games to determine how challenging they are. In addition, I have to keep abreast of game design technology and techniques. To work as a game reviewer, I need to get a 4 year college degree. I must be good at math, science, and English in order to become a well trained game reviewer. In the United States, the average salary for a game reviewer is $76,000 per year. In the state of Virginia, the average annual salary is $92,020. In the United States by the year 2016 employment for a game reviewer is expected to increase by 15.1%. In the state of Virginia by the year 2016 it is expected to increase by 16.8%. I am looking forward to becoming a game reviewer in the future. |
